You have a few options to request a book or article not held by Library Services:

  • When searching Quick Search, click the title and navigate to the Request Item through Interlibrary Loan button on the right-hand side.

  • When searching a database, like PsycInfo, click the Get It button and then Request Item through Interlibrary Loan button.

  • Fill out the interlibrary loan form manually with as much information as possible.

Log in, complete the request information (including Campus information), and hit submit. Set up your account profile to ensure that notifications are sent to your email and let you know your materials have arrived.

Articles are delivered electronically and will be delivered within 1-3 days, with most articles being delivered within hours. The turnaround time for interlibrary loans is 7-10 days for books. As items are being shipped from other libraries, there may be a delay for processing.

Books may be picked up at the Information Desk or mailed to regional and online students. For more information on the process, see our Interlibrary Loan page.

Interlibrary loan is only available to current students, faculty, and staff.
