Members of the greater Springfield community do have limited access to the Library at Springfield College. Here are some of the privileges:

  • Guests are invited to use the first floor of the facility, including tables, chairs, reference books, and more, until 6 p.m.
  • Guests may use the two computers designated for both Springfield College members and visitors for one hour at a time. This can be extended if no one is waiting to use your computer.
  • While using library computers, guests may access the library catalog and any databases to which Springfield College subscribes.
  • Card holders from certain area colleges (American International College, Bay Path College, Elms College, Holyoke Community College, Springfield Technical Community College, Western New England University, and Westfield State University) or from the Springfield City Library may register for a guest library card. Guest patrons may check out certain materials on a limited basis.
