If you need an item that Babson Library does not own, you may request it via Interlibrary Loan (ILL). Babson Library will locate another library that can supply the item you need and borrow or obtain a copy for you. There is no charge for this service. When possible articles will be delivered to your Springfield College e-mail address. When this is not possible delivery takes approximately a week (sometimes less, sometimes more ; items will take longer for locations further from the Springfield Campus). Books borrowed via ILL typically have short loan periods (around three weeks) and cannot always be renewed.
To request an item via Interlibrary Loan, simply fill out the appropriate form (Book for books, theses, dissertations, or videos; Article for copies of journal, magazine, or newspaper articles). Please fill out the forms as completely as possible.
Students, faculty, and staff at the Springfield, MA campus, except School of Human Services: Only items that are not owned by Babson Library may be requested via Interlibrary Loan.
