Ebooks are included in the library's catalog, along with print books, DVDs, and streaming videos. Simply go to the library's homepage, then use the main search box to type in any subject, author, or title. You can narrow your search to ebooks by selecting that option on the left-hand side of the results list.
After completing your search, you will be brought to a screen containing the book record which will tell you which format(s) are available to you. Most library books are available in either eBook or print format, occasionally in both formats.
Click the title to view the book’s Availability/Holdings information.
eBook records displaying an "Access Online" button will connect you to the full electronic version, which you can read anywhere with wireless internet.
Print books will display a shelving location and a call number, which will help you locate the book in the library.
For example, Worlds of autism: across the spectrum of neurological difference (2013) by Davidson and Orsini is “Held by Springfield College, Babson Library,” (meaning we own this book), and has two formats available:
- Electronic format: Access online (button)
- Print format: Babson Library Book Stacks (shelving location) RC 553.A88 N48 2013 (call number)
